subscribe

A recent article published by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in AAP NEWS urges pediatricians to prepare to implement new immunization recommendations by placing influenza vaccine orders for the 2009-2010 season.

The article, written by AAP Committee Member Henry Bernstein, DO, highlights that the expanded influenza vaccination recommendation, which includes all children 6 months–18 years of age, will go into effect for the 2009-2010 influenza season.

Sanofi Pasteur is committed to preparing for the expanded pediatric recommendations by increasing its production to ensure an adequate supply of vaccine and is continuing to increase the amount of preservative-free influenza vaccine supply produced each year.
