The 2009 National Influenza Vaccine Summit (NIVS) meeting will be held on May 18-20, 2009 in Dallas, Texas and will focus on addressing immunization among health-care professionals and increasing vaccination among the general population.

Attendance at previous meetings totaled more than 200 influenza experts, representing more than 100 organizations.

The NIVS is a partnership of public and private stakeholders, committed to achieving the Healthy People 2010 goals for influenza vaccination.
