Sanofi Pasteur also has a new vaccine production facility that is anticipated to be fully validated and producing influenza vaccine for the 2009-2010 season. This facility will replace an existing facility in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, and will increase the site's capacity for producing influenza vaccine, specifically production of its no-preservative, single-dose formulations.
